If you are charged with a crime, avoid the urge to post anything at all on social media.
Anything you say, any content you post, even anything you like or share or retweet, can be used as evidence against you. If not, it could be used to impugn your character.
For many - way too many - social media is an addiction. But when you are looking at the possibility of spending decades in prison, it is best to let your desire for freedom supersede your desire for online validation.
Please, if you take one piece of free advice from this blog, do not post anything on social media - any platform - when you are facing criminal charges. Once your case is resolved, you can post away.
