Courts in Miami-Dade County - specifically Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County - remain closed for the time being. Broward Courts tentatively plan to reopen after May 29th. Miami-Dade County and Palm Beach County have not yet announced dates in which normal operations will resume.
The Florida Supreme Court has suspended all jury trials until July. And Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Courts are holding virtual hearings via Zoom for some matters. Emergency matters, such as first appearances and applying for restraining orders can still be done in person at courthouses.
