A Hialeah couple has been arrested and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card and grand theft in the third-degree after allegedly checking into a Palm Beach County resort and using someone else’s credit card information to pay for the room, room service, liquor, and items in the hotel’s gift shop.
Fraudulent use of a credit card and grand theft in the third-degree are both third-degree felonies punishable by a maximum of 5 years in state prison each.
The male appears to have several priors for similar offenses in Miami-Dade County.
The amount stolen is reported to be over $10,000.
