A man has been arrested on Miami Beach's Lincoln Road for firing a gun into the air outside of a popular bar.
The accused, apparently under the assumption that the bar's staff did not want to serve him, withdrew a gun from underneath his shirt and began waving it around.
When confronted by the bar's manager, the accused allegedly aimed his gun at him. The accused then reportedly fired a few shots into the air.
When police arrived, the accused was taken into custody.
He is in jail right now pending charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, discharging a firearm in public (misdemeanor), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and disorderly conduct.
As for the aggravated assault with a firearm charge and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the accused faces a three-year mandatory minimum sentence with a maximum of over twenty years.
