A man who police allege may have been a suspect in a robbery is facing charges in the traffic deaths of four people.
An Opa-locka police officer allegedly observed the accused's car make an illegal turn. As the officer tried to initiate a traffic stop, the accused allegedly fled. While communicating with dispatch, the officer reportedly found out that the accused's vehicle matched one recently used in a robbery.
The accused proceeded onto I-95, where he reportedly went the wrong way. He got into a head-on collision with another car, resulting in four deaths.
The accused will face charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding, a second-degree felony. He may also face felony murder charges as the deaths occurred during the commission of a felony (fleeing and eluding).
