FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement), the Miami-Dade County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and the Miami-Dade Schools Police Department arrested a Miami-Dade Schools employee this week on charges of human trafficking, as well as other sex crimes against a child.
The Miami-Dade Schools employee was accused of trying to lure a 14 year-old girl to Miami from Louisiana over the Internet. What the accused did not realize was that the person he was chatting with was not a 14 year-old girl but an undercover police officer.
The accused is also alleged to have sent nude photos to the undercover officer over the Internet.
The accused faces up to life in prison.
