Several cars are set on fire at Rick Case Honda in Davie this weekend. Police are searching for suspects.
Police officers and firefighters were called to the dealership about 4:15 a.m. Sunday. Davie police said that because the burning cars were in a locked area, the firefighters had to cut through a lock to get in and put out the flames.
Arson is a first-degree felony, however if arrested, the suspect will likely face burglary charges as well.
Burglary can be charged because the dealership was locked, therefore any entry with the intent to commit a crime therein (arson) would be a burglary.
