At that point, witnesses state that numerous shots rang out.
When the gunshots stopped, one of the two men involved in the initial confrontation was dead inside the club, The man who was ordered to put down his gun later died in surgery at Broward General Medical Center, she said. Neither have been identified. The club's security guard was not hurt.
Rescue units from BSO Fire Rescue, Tamarac and Lauderhill took those who were wounded to area hospitals. One was in critical condition, the others were in serious condition, according to Moschella.
